Lutin v0.65.0

v0.65.0

Desktop navigation is faster and more consistent, with search and filters available from the title bar across the workspace. Tasks are easier to scan and manage, while mobile handoffs and destructive actions are more reliable.

Highlights

  • Search Feed, Notes & Docs, Tasks, Memory, Automations, and Settings from consistent title-bar controls. Cmd/Ctrl+F opens search for the current view.
  • Search Feed activity directly and filter it by connected app, status, or time period from one menu. Completed activity remains visible after viewing.
  • Work with tasks in cleaner list tabs and flat rows, with descriptions, source context, and due dates visible at a glance.
  • Quickly capture local tasks with a title-only entry and browse up to 200 tasks consistently across desktop task views.
  • Search Settings by section name and filter Memory using the complete set of available tags.

Fixes and Improvements

  • Mobile now re-establishes its active presence immediately when opened or returned to the foreground, improving continuity across mobile, desktop, and cloud.
  • Added confirmation before deleting desktop tasks or mobile notes and documents, including deletion from both preview cards and the editor.
  • Long task lists now scroll independently within Working Desk without interfering with dragging on empty desk space.
  • Notes & Docs date groups now label Today and Yesterday accurately in local time.
  • Synced notes now retain the correct note-card appearance instead of being styled as documents.
  • Search and filter controls fit better at narrower window sizes and provide clearer keyboard focus and Escape behavior.
  • Markdown tables now have cleaner rounded borders and remain usable when their content requires horizontal scrolling.

Lutin v0.60.0

v0.60.0

Lutin 0.60.0 makes active work easier to follow and control, brings a more consistent experience across desktop and mobile, and strengthens permission and background-task reliability.

Highlights

  • Running Tasks now shows Lutin’s current action, completed action count, update freshness, approval status, and relevant selection or clipboard context.
  • Open a running task directly in Feed or stop it from its status card. Tasks without an update for five minutes are clearly marked as needing attention.
  • Feed threads use a consistent layout for requests, replies, attachments, tool activity, plans, pending edits, and created documents across desktop and mobile.
  • Memory browsing now shares the same visual cards across devices, with consistent categories, imagery, place maps, tags, and expanded details.

Fixes and Improvements

  • Approving or denying a permission request now correctly reaches the waiting task on both desktop and mobile.
  • Available actions are matched to the current device and connected accounts, preventing unsupported actions from being offered or attempted.
  • Actions requiring approval are identified consistently before they run.
  • Connector accounts, searches, settings, task rows, dropdowns, and mobile sheets received consistent states, feedback, and interaction behavior.
  • Mobile dialogs and menus restore focus more reliably when closed.
  • Task replies and activity are associated more reliably with their originating Feed thread.

Internal

  • Hardened task recovery so an outdated completion from an earlier attempt cannot overwrite a newer running attempt.
  • Added stricter validation for task lifecycle data, improving recovery from malformed events and keeping queued, running, completed, failed, and cancelled states consistent across devices.

v0.59.2

Lutin v0.59.0

v0.59.0

Assistant requests now recover safely from interrupted sends, restarts, and sync checkpoints. Desktop and mobile avoid duplicate work, while Feed history can detect and repair inconsistencies automatically.

Highlights

  • Retry an interrupted assistant request without accidentally starting it twice. Lutin checks whether the request was already accepted and resubmits only when it is confirmed missing.
  • Queued assistant work can recover after a restart or sync checkpoint restores incomplete activity records.
  • The Feed now validates and repairs missing, stale, or malformed activity history at startup and after synchronization.

Fixes and Improvements

  • Requests with an unknown acceptance status remain pending instead of being treated as rejected and submitted again.
  • Mobile now relies on confirmed activity records when sending requests, reducing duplicate or stale Feed entries.
  • Deleted activity can no longer be selected or updated by background processing.
  • Database connections and background processing recover more reliably after unexpected task failures.
  • Feed repairs are synchronized and verified before a sync cycle is reported as complete.

Internal

  • Historical assistant work that cannot be proven safe is quarantined by account and blocked from execution, preventing accidental reruns across devices.
  • Request reconciliation stores only a stable identity; prompt context and status diagnostics remain content-free.
  • The desktop’s local runtime service now refuses connections exposed beyond the device.

Lutin v0.58.1

v0.58.1

Sending requests from the desktop app is now clearer and more reliable: failed messages remain available to retry, accepted work transitions cleanly into Running Tasks, and the panel behaves better across displays.

Highlights

  • Failed Ask Lutin requests now show an inline error, preserve the original message, and restore focus for immediate retry.
  • The send button now shows visible progress while a request is being accepted.
  • Accepted requests close the Ask Lutin panel before opening Running Tasks, preventing overlapping panels and confusing transitions.

Fixes and Improvements

  • Improved Ask Lutin panel sizing when macOS briefly cannot identify the current display.
  • Added screen-reader labels and accessible status announcements to the request, attachment, and send controls.
  • Fixed Gmail message bodies that could appear empty or unreadable when returned without Base64 padding.
  • Made completion handling more consistent when opening apps, notes, documents, folders, calculations, and time conversions from the Ask Lutin panel.

Internal

  • Cloud work now waits for a compatible, healthy runtime during deployments before replacing existing workers.
  • Local data operations now tolerate brief write contention instead of failing immediately, improving memory and sync reliability.

Patch Update

  • Made message sending more reliable across desktop and mobile, with safe retries that prevent lost or duplicate requests.
  • Improved recovery from expired sessions and added clearer guidance when signing in again is required.
  • Polished the Feed so sent requests, responses, and failures stay grouped, with your profile avatar shown on your messages.

Lutin v0.58.0

v0.58.0

  • The send button now shows visible progress while a request is being accepted.

Lutin v0.51.0

v0.51.0

Lutin can now continue assistant work and scheduled tasks when your phone moves to the background or your desktop goes idle, then notify you when results are ready. The activity feed is easier to follow, proactive behavior is more configurable, and long responses and cross-device work are more reliable.

Highlights

  • Continue assistant work and scheduled tasks through secure cloud execution when no device is actively running them.
  • Receive mobile notifications when a task finishes, then tap through to the synced result.
  • Control proactive interactions with a time zone, quiet hours, notification window, and mobile push settings on desktop and mobile. Proactive interactions and push remain off by default.
  • Follow activity in a conversation-style feed with day grouping, threaded replies, clearer statuses, and quick access to comments and session reviews.
  • Review suggested edits directly from feed threads, including accept and reject actions.

Fixes and Improvements

  • Long assistant responses now stream more smoothly and recover from missed or out-of-order updates without losing content or remaining stuck in a loading state.
  • Large activity histories load faster, and filtered results retain the complete conversation around each request.
  • Calendar activity displays event titles more consistently.
  • Memory suggestions now ignore system-generated prompts and automatically discard one-off research or external-task subjects, reducing irrelevant questions and memory clutter.
  • Memory suggestions show their source, making them easier to understand and review.
  • Mobile sign-out now lets you keep local data or reset the device before using another account.
  • Added a mobile Settings test for verifying encrypted background execution and notification delivery.

Internal

  • Task inputs and results remain encrypted while syncing and during cloud handoff; push notifications use generic text, and notification tokens are encrypted at rest.
  • Cross-device ownership prevents multiple devices from performing the same background work simultaneously.
  • Interrupted tasks, expired work claims, missing workers, and failed handoffs recover more reliably without repeating completed effects.

Lutin v0.50.0

v0.50.0

v0.50.0 makes Lutin less interruptive and more reliable, with direct support requests, smarter memory follow-ups, and safer note editing across devices.

Highlights

  • Ask Lutin to send product feedback or report a problem directly to support. Submission requires explicit confirmation and may include your account name and email when available.
  • Memory follow-ups now better distinguish personal context from research, comparisons, and one-off tasks, avoiding irrelevant questions about incidental names or organizations.
  • Note edits are handled more safely across desktop and mobile. Stale changes are preserved as conflict copies, accidental empty overwrites are blocked, and missing desktop working files can be restored.

Fixes and Improvements

  • Prevented repeated memory questions for subjects Lutin already understands or that you previously dismissed.
  • Memory clarifications no longer interrupt immediately after a task finishes and will not ask about your own account identity.
  • Fixed interface crashes when memory clarification cards update, task lists become empty, save status changes, or inline previews load.
  • Routine mobile note saves and deletions no longer clutter the activity feed.
  • The Free plan usage limit is now 100,000 tokens per day.

Internal

  • Desktop errors can now be reported automatically when analytics is enabled, improving diagnosis and support. Session recording and automatic page or interaction capture remain disabled.
