How to Replace Spotlight with Lutin

Quick Setup

Step 1: Install Lutin

Download from lutinapp.com and follow the macOS installation prompts.

Step 2: Map the Shortcut

1. Open System Settings → Keyboard → Keyboard Shortcuts

2. Select Spotlight on the left panel

3. Disable ⌘Space (uncheck "Show Spotlight search")

4. Open Lutin Settings → Shortcuts

5. Set Summon Lutin to ⌘Space

Done. Press ⌘Space to invoke Lutin instead of Spotlight.
